OUR BOARD
About Our Board
The Hardin County Board of Developmental Disabilities is governed by a 7-member volunteer Board of Directors, made up of community leaders. By statue, one board member must be a person eligible for DD services, and two members must be family members of a person eligible for services. Five members are appointed by the Hardin County Board of Commissioners, and two are appointed by the Hardin County Probate Judge.
The Board works alongside the superintendent and agency staff to guide the mission, oversee operations, and ensure that local programs meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Hardin County.
The Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM at the Hardin County Board of DD.
